Jennifer Connelly
Jennifer Lynn Connelly, born 12 December 1970 was an American actor. When she began her career as a child model and then acting debut in 1984's crime movie Once Upon a Time in America. After modeling for a number of years, she chose to pursue acting and was in several films like the film of horror Phenomena (1985), Labyrinth (1986) and Career Opportunities (1991) and The Rocketeer (1991). Connelly was recognized for her performance in Dark City (1998), and for her performance in the role of Alicia Nash in Ron Howard’s biopic A Beautiful Mind (2001). The films that followed included the Hulk film (2003) and the horror film Dark Water (2006), the psychological drama Little Children (2006) and the dramatic Blood Diamond (2006). Connelly has appeared in the TNT dystopian TV show Snowpiercer from 2020. In 2005, Connelly was appointed Amnesty International Ambassador to Human Rights Education. She was the model for Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton and Revlon cosmetics. She was the company's first international model in the year 2012. Time Magazine, Esquire, Vanity Fair and Esquire and Los Angeles Times have all included her.
